Bishop Abbott

Bishop Jesse E.C. Abbott is an infectious leader, visionary, innovative thinker, preacher, and teacher who presently serves as the Senior Pastor of New Dimensions Family Ministries (NDFM), located in Salisbury, MD. Under the leadership of Bishop Abbott NDFM has grown from a church starting out with three members to a church in five different (Salisbury, Cambridge, Millsboro, Princess Anne, Seaford) locations. He has instilled the value of Loving God and Loving people through the effective training of leaders for ministry, service to the church and community, and evangelistic outreach.

At the beginning of his ministry Bishop Abbott was known around Salisbury, MD as the pastor who would ride up and down the streets with a bull horn attached to his car, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He still values this form of evangelism today and continues to pass his fire for evangelism with everyone he comes in contact with.

Bishop Abbott is passionate about equipping the body of Christ with the tools needed for effective and efficient ministry. He also has a strong fervor for prayer, which is evident in the way that he lives his life and exemplifies the importance of spending time in the presence of God.

Bishop Abbott has been pastoring for over 38 years and is also the Presiding Prelate and Founder of New Dimensions Covenant Fellowship, where he provides spiritual covering for 7 churches within the Delmarva peninsula. He and his wife Gloria have been married for 41 years. Together they are the parents of four children and three grandchildren.
